Please read these Policies carefully before registering for a Session (“class”, “class series”, “series”, “program”, “workshop” or “training”) provided by Harmony Yoga (“us”, “we”, or “our”). By using our website and submitting online registrations you agree to the terms and conditions of these Policies.

General

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to register for a session with Harmony Yoga. Students under the age of 18 are required to provide consent from a parent and/or legal guardian.
  • Prior to the start of a Session, you are required to inform the teacher of any issues or medical conditions that may affect your participation in the Session.
  • For Parent and Child sessions, you remain responsible for your child(ren) at all times throughout each Session.

Registration Policy

  • Registrations must be submitted on this Site, unless otherwise stated in the Session description.
  • Where applicable, each registration and fee is per participant unless otherwise specified.
  • Full payment is due upon registration to reserve your place in a group Session.
  • Advance payment is required for private Sessions.
  • Registrations are considered confirmed only once full payment has been received.
  • All class purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Class packages are valid for programs provided and operated by Harmony Yoga only.
  • Program, workshop and training deposits and payments are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated.
  • All class passes have a one year expiry date (from date of payment or first Session attended, whichever comes first).

Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel less than 5 days before the start of your scheduled class series, program, workshop or training, we cannot provide a refund. There is minimal chance we will be able to re-book cancelled spaces in the class series, program, workshop or training, and we likely would have turned down other registrations.
  • If you cancel more than 7 days before your scheduled class series, program, workshop or training, an administration surcharge and cancellation fee of 20% will be charged..
  • If you notify us or cancel after the start of a Session, no refund or credit (make-up Session) will be provided.
    • For extenuating circumstances, exceptions may be made at the discretion of Harmony Yoga.

Missed and Make-up Classes

The following applies to classes that are part of a series.

  • There are no refunds and no make-up classes in the case of “no-shows” i.e. non-attendance without prior notification to Harmony Yoga.
  • For Parent and Child classes: If you or your child are sick, please stay home to rest and recover. Remember, there may be young infants with little or no immune system that may be vulnerable to exposure to illness. The teacher reserves the right to ask any ill attendees to leave the class. If this occurs, you will not be eligible for a makeup class.
  • Missed classes are only eligible for a credit (make-up class) if you notify us of your absence at least 8 hours prior to the start of the class.
  • Some registrations may not be eligible for make-up classes, particularly where promotional rates apply. This will be clearly noted in the registration description.
  • Make-up classes are only possible if space is available in a future series, or in a class at another location within the current series period.
  • Credits must be used within 30 days of the missed class, or at the next series if the series runs for longer than 30 days.
  • Tracking and scheduling of missed and make-up classes is the responsibility of the registrant/ attendee.
  • Requests for a Make-up class must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the proposed Make-up class.
  • To schedule a Make-up class , a request must be submitted to info@harmonyoga.ca for review and approval.

Cancellation or Changes of Sessions

  • The minimum enrollment for a group Session is 5. Sessions may be cancelled by us due to insufficient enrollment. In this event, all registrants will be notified prior to the start of the Session and a refund or alternate/ future Session will be offered.
  • Harmony Yoga reserves the right to cancel any Session at any time without advance notice or liability other than to refund fees received for Sessions cancelled due to such cancellation.
  • Harmony Yoga reserves the right to provide supply instructors due to the cancellation of the original instructor without advance notice.
  • Force Majeure: In case of Session cancellations due to inclement weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the control of Harmony Yoga, we will notify you by e-mail or by phone. You can also check our website to confirm if a Session has been cancelled, rescheduled or postponed.

Payments

  • All transactions are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
  • Payment methods accepted are cash, credit card, PayPal online or Interac e-transfer. Cheque payments are not accepted.
  • Credit card payments incur a 3% surcharge for processing fees.
  • All Credit Cards will be processed in Canadian Dollars at the time of payment. We are not responsible for any fees, charges, exchange rates or additional charges levied by individual financial institutions or Credit Card companies.

Refunds

  • All payments made for Session packages or Series are non-refundable and may only be used towards make-up Sessions.
  • Refunds may be issued at Harmony Yoga’s discretion due to extenuating circumstances only.
  • Refunds incur a 20% surcharge for admin and processing fees.
  • Refund requests must be submitted to info@harmonyoga.ca for review and approval.
  • Once approved, refunds will typically be issued in the same form of payment received.
  • Refunds may take up to 10 business days to be processed.

Risk and Responsibility

Harmony Yoga does not accept responsibility for students who do not follow the class instructions as provided by the teacher. Any medical or physical conditions, recent or persistent injuries, or relevant disclosures must be made by students to the teacher prior to the beginning of class. Prior to, during, or after class, it is the responsibility of students to inform the teacher if they are experiencing any pain or discomfort.

Registration and attendance denotes the acceptance of the risk associated with all forms of physical exercise, both during and after.

Photographs

  • Photographs may be taken before, during or after class.
  • These photos may be used on the website or in promotional materials for Harmony Yoga.
  • If you do not wish to appear in any photographs, please inform the teacher prior to the start of the Session.
  • If you do not wish to be photographed, you may be asked to move to a specific area of the room in order to accommodate your request,
